Accredited Observer Groups for Adamawa State (October 11th 2014) Governorship Bye-Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has approved Thirty (30) Observer groups to participate in the forth-coming Adamawa State Governorship bye-election scheduled for October 11th, 2014. This is sequel to the initial applications as contained in the completed forms EMOC 01 and assessed by the Commission.  The approved groups are as follows:

2.      The above listed groups are to obtain and complete form EMOC 002 for the election from the Elections and Party Monitoring Department INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja between 8am-4pm (Monday-Friday) starting from 19th to 29th September, 2014.

3.      In order to ensure prompt and efficient processing of ID cards, all the accredited observer groups are enjoined to compile the photographs of their members for deployment in Adamawa State along with the names and submit in hard and soft copy (CD please using J PEG drive) to the Elections and Party Monitoring Department, INEC Headquarters on or before 29th September, 2014.

4.      Please note that distribution of observer kits (including ID cards for individual observers) will be done by the Department of Elections and Party Monitoring at INEC State office Adamawa State between 7th – 10th October, 2014.

5.      Meanwhile, the Commission wishes to stress that observer groups other than those listed above found in the field in Adamawa State for the said election shall be prosecuted.

5.      Any further enquiries should be directed to the Director, Elections and Party Monitoring Department, INEC Headquarters Maitama, Abuja.
