2015 General Election: MTN, INEC and NOA Launches My2015 App to Enhance Voter Education.

MTN Nigeria has launched the 2015 BetterMe app, which has been described as a milestone in voter education and engagement towards enhancing and deepening Nigeria’s electoral process.

Speaking at the unveiling the BetterMe app in Abuja, Oluwole Osaze Uzzi, director of voter education, described the app as a major platform for voter engagement and a big step forward in Nigeria’s quest for participatory democracy and enhancing their participation in the electoral process

Mr. Mike Omeri, Director General of NOA, also spoke at the event adding that the BetterME app was developed by a Nigerian which is an indication of the country’s potential in the IT world. With the app, Nigerians both within and outside the country would be able to witness and participate fully in the electoral process.

Fola Akinmolayan, CEO of NEO2, developers of the app, disclosed that the platform was secure and could be accessed via most mobile phones.

You can download the  2015 BetterME App by Sending the keyword 2015 to 131 via SMS. An SMS containing the link for download will be sent to you immediately. Tap on the link to download the App free of charge.

Please be aware that the app is only available for android platforms. Although, other platforms will be introduced in the course of time.
